    constraint issue

    Hello

While creating an assembly I will mate components together to a grounded component and the assembled parts are allowed to be moved and or rotated.

To get them back into position I need to click re-build.

Previously once you mated parts together I was unable to move or rotate them (they would become anchored)

Have I in-advertently changes a setting? And if so how do I get it back?

    Thanks in advance

Are you using the Move command to move them, or are you just dragging them?  The behavior you describe is normal behavior if you use Move to drag a component.  However, it is not normal behavior for simply dragging a fully constrained component.

Hi! It sounds like you might have turn on Defer Update in the assembly. Please go to Tools -> Application Options -> Assembly -> uncheck Defer Update.

If it does not help, please post the files you are having trouble with here or send them to me.

    Thanks!
