just to let you know guys... i had to uninstall and reinstall inventor, both 2012 and 2013 to get rid of the problem
and from now on, i'm staying away from the color scheme editor
I'm sory you had so much trouble with this Mike. But I'm glad tyou got it sorted out in the end!
