I want to convert our drawings from one template to another (attached). Conversion is from .idw to .dwg. What's the best method?
Thanks, Greg

You would not be able to convert one file extension to another in sometype of a transfer. If you are just looking to swap out the template information then you can try the "Drawing Resource Transfer Wizard" in the tools menu of the program group.

Hi PENengr,
You can use Task Scheduler to convert your IDW files to DWG:
And then use the Drawing Resource Transfer Wizard previously mentioned, to add or exchange titleblocks, border, sketched symbols, etc.
I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis
