The movie was produced for Windforce 2012 last month and by all accounts, went down well. Most of the models were already there in Inventor format a certain amount of detail needed to be added. The whole 3d studio texturing, lighting, animating process took 1 guy about 2 months. because of the tight timescales, some of the scenes needed to be cut and there are elements that will be improved on in the coming weeks.
I was very impressed both by the amount and quality that was produced in such a short timescale, this is mainly credited to the guys skills but also the improvements in software

Some finishing touches have been added to the movie... A crane to lift the foundations onto the vessel and what I think is a very realistic seascape showing the unloading at sea.
