Hi,
Does anyone have an intelligent way of referencing the sheet with the parent view? Eg, i put a detail or section view on Sheet 2 from a parent view on Sheet 1 and want to reference from what sheet the view is taken from. Please help.
Thanks,
Inventor 2012

Hi LewisLusby,
There is an easy way for the linking view which located in the browser tree, if you create a linked view, then an icon will show in the Browser tree.
And it will keep the annotation words there, such as "Section A-A", so it easy to find out which view is the father view.
But we still hard to track and locate the father view directlly by searching in the profile of children view, I will send a wishlist to our system, hopefully it helps you somehow.
More detail, please refer to the attached video.
Thanks!

There is an Add-In on Autodesk Exchange that does this.

nice tip bretrick30,
it would be nice if autodesk got some employees that have done some drafting, they may be able to develop some basic everyday tools like this.
