    Vector based dimensions

    Is there actually a good reason why dimensions in IV are vectorless? If not, can we consider as a feature request? This gives me constant headaches in Inventor with my sketches and mates solving in unpredictable ways. I know I can use work planes as a work around, but it's a huge PITA.

    For what it's worth, the images you embedded don't display in my browser (IE7). Perhaps you could attach them as files.

    They're just images of models that have blown themselves apart because a dimension decided it should change direction randomly. I'm sure you're familiar.
