Update a Custom Frame Generator Shape

I want to update a frame generator shape so it shows as a phantom part and won't show on the parts list. I don't know how to do this. Would I re-publish this part again? I can't just change the BOM properties in the original part file. What's the best approach here?

I've found to just re-publish the corrected FG item.

Have you demoted the parts to an assembly, or are they still in the original FG assembly? Do you need it to show on the drawing for reference? if not right-click on the part and suppress it. You can also manually open the parts list, and hide the part in it by turning that line's visibility off. I have had problems where an FG part will not delete when I wanted to delete it. Fixed that by replacing it with any non-FG part then deleting. You should be able to go into the BOM and change the part from Normal to Phantom.

Actually, I should have been more specific (the story of my life).  I want to set the part so each time it is used in a frame generator assembly it won't show in the parts list.  Right now I go in and turn off these parts manually but since I have to do it each time I wanted to have it default so it won't show.

In 2012 this didn't work for me so I never tried it in 2013.  Now it works so I guess its fixed.  Thanks again.
