I am just curious to know if anyone knows why my Inventor Keeps crashing when I am inserting a Parts List into a Drawing for my assembly.
It has been happening more frequently now, and I already installed Service Pack 2. The above is my computer information.
If anyone knows please get back to me thanks.

I have this issue too, except its with IV2012 Pro. It hangs when inserting the parts list & even when trying to expand the parts list in the BOM view of the assy model.
It seems to be limited to a single IAM file (which has its own sub assemblies within it). I've tried "rebuild", global update etc but nothing seems to make a difference. I've saved, renamed & replaced the sub assemblies, all to no avail.
I'd submit the crash report if it got that far but like i said, it just hangs.
I wish there were some analysis tools to help get to the bottom of this type of problem. Something that could point you to a problem file or such.
Any advice before I have to bit the bullet & start from scratch ?

It could be one of the sub-assemblies. Can you create/place BOM's for each of the sub assembies in a drawing.

Yes, iv'e traced it back to one sub assy. No hint of the problem within the file though. I'll let you know how it goes after i've rebuilt that sub assy.
Fingers crossed.

Problem solved.
Rebuilt the afflicted sub assy model & all is well.
It's strange that the idw of the sub assy I'd previously created worked fine & that it coused the upper level assy idw prts list to hang.
