    *mpower

    Threads in detail don't show

    I have a drawing where the threads are shown as hidden lines in the section
    view, but the detail view of the section does not show them. Furthermore, I
    can't get the Hole/Thread Notes tool to work to define the threads in the
    section view. Can anyone tell me why and how to fix it?

    Check out CF with the same subject.

    great question. I'd love to see how to do this as I deal a lot with threaded parts.

    Also you cannot put a hole note on a section view. I don't think you ever
    could...

    I tried to duplicate your method, and it worked file, but if the detail
    definition circle does not enclose the entire diameter, IV has some
    problems. See CF under my post.
