    Thread.xls problem

    Hi,

Im running Inventor 2011 32-bit, and have a problem with bolted connection on parts Im trying to assemble.

All that happens is when I click bolted connection a window pops up that says "Invalid thread data table. Please check Thread.xls" I have physically looked for the Excel file and it's there, with what seems to me a complete thread parameters.

I have checked the tool>application options and the root files are ok.

I have recently updated the software to a service pack 1. I have ran out of options and things to check.

    Can anyone help?

    Hello ,

Maybe your xls file is corupted in some way. Do you have another Inventor in your office that works without problems with the threads. If yes then copy from that pc the xls file and paste it into yours and overwrite. I have attached my xls for you to check if it solves the problem.Overwrite the files when inventor is closed and do a backup on the old one.
