    Suppressing Patterned Occurrences Question

    Hi,

I have a patterned extrusion in a part. I need to supress the first occurence in this pattern but the option to do so in the context menu is not available when right clicking the 1st occurence  The remaining occurences are suppressable. Is this normal behavoir when patterning in a part file?

    Thank you

I just found my answer...... can't suppress the first occurence. ;-(

What would be a good stategy around this pattern behavior?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards

Yes this is normal behaviour in terms of a patterned feature. Unfortunately you can not also break a pattern feature.

However, you can pattern a sketch and untick associative to break the sketch pattern.

Then extrude all the sketch profiles.
