HI GOOD DAY to all the Autodesk Inventor Experts,

A question here regarding frame design feature in Autodesk Inventor. i have my own company structural shape and wanna publish it into the Autodesk Inventor library therefore i can insert it by using the frame feature in design acceleralator.

i know that we can author the structural shape, but how to author the structural shape together with the slots and holes along the frame as below.

Although I don't do it myself, here is a blog topic that I read recently that says that iLogic and Content Centre play nicely together. If you create the holes/slots by iLogic then I think this will help.

    It's very easy!

    use the following steps

1 Creatie your base exstrusion in One single exstrude feature

    2 autor the part

3 create aditional features, like patterns.

    succes

    Hi Weiloon.

Although you don't say what Inventor version you're on I have created a 2012 part and published it to my CC, complete with length adjustment and patterned holes/slots. You should be able to figure it out from this. See attached.

....are you guys sure this will work with the Frame Generator?

I would be impressed by an example!

Yep, shot myself in the foot. Forgot about the Frame Generator part of the post. Publishes to the CC okay but that's only part of the requirement   :smileysad:
