Why is it, when I go to Flat Pattern/export to DXF that everything ends up upside down.

I have part where it is important that the correct side is faced upp, (brusched steel).

When i Export it to dxf, it is upside down, and the bruched facefacing down.

    You can flip before exporting.

    Hi ENRAD,

As JDMather mentioned you can adjust the flat pattern orientation before exporting it as described at this link:

    http://inventortrenches.blogspot.com/2011/05/edit-flat-pattern-orientation.html

    I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,

Yes I understand that, But, if I have say 300 parts to export, thats nearly 1000 extra mouse-clicks to do, so why cant Inventor do it correct in the first place.

Pick your face side before you create the flat pattern. You may want to rotate your flat pattern after, but at least your "good" side will be facing you.
