    Sheet Metal Solid Bodies?

Is it possible to create a sheet metal part with multiple solid bodies? If not, put this at the top of my wish list!

    Yes and no.

Multi-body solids have been possible since release 2010.

You will have to use standard tools to create the sheet metal parts.

You will have to push-out the individual solids to get flat pattern.

I'm not quite sure why you even need to have a standard part and a sheet metal part. Why not have all the functionality in one part? I may be making it too simple but a single part that can do it all would be incredible!

I completely agree.  I actually create all of my parts in the multibody environment then export them out into the assembly so that I can create the flat pattern and maybe use a few of the sheet metal tools.  It would be so much easier if it could all be done in the multibody environment.
