It seems when I project geometry then draw a sketch tracing over that projected geometry, I can't do anyting (offset or flange) with that sketch. It gives me the Self Intersecting paths or loops are invalid for this operation. What gives?
How can I use those projected lines for my sketch? Things work fine in the tutorials....
Lovin' sheet metal and skeletal design, by the way....

Change projected geometry to construction if you are going to trace over it.

Ah... that's it. A minor thing from the tutorials I forgot.
I also discovered I can use the projected lines as part of the sketch if I don't trace over them.
Thanks,
