Is there some way to change the color patterns in a section view? In the attached page the operator was imported from a vendor drawing. The face colors were changed but this does not affect the section view.

Hi JM.,
I think what you'll want to do is edit the imported part and change the color of the solid bodies rather than just the faces. You may need to use the Strip Overrides option to get this to work as expected. This link from the Being Inventive blog covers the basics of setting color priorities:

Note too, that it's best to save your file before doing this. I've had some small parts that had a lot of complex surfaces that took a long time to process.
I hope this helps.
Best of luck with all of your Inventor pursuits,

The web link produces a 'broken link' error. I can get to the web page - just need to know how to find the specific file.
