Saving down to 2010 tutorial needed ASAP!!

In Autodesk Inventor Pro. 2014, How do you save an .ipt as a file readable by autodesk 2010?

Why I ask this is because my school (stupidly) installed invetor 2010 onto every netbook they would pass out to the 9th grade(my grade) but the teacher of the IED(intro to engineering design) has inventor 2011.  He gave me and a few other students some .ipts for our Aerospace unit, but they were in 2011, and the netbook had 2010 (2010 cant read 2011 files).  I then went to download the student version of inventor 2011.  After having trouble installing 2011 onto my netbook I downloaded inventor 2014 and sucessfully installed it.  I now need to save these .ipts to a format in hich inventor 2010 can read so I can give these files to my classmates (so they dont have to waste approximately 10 hours installing inventor 2011 or higher).  I dont know if a similar question has been asked but I need this answred ASAP!

What I would like is a step by step tutorial to save a inventor 2011 .ipt file down to an inventor 2010 .ipt using Inventor or other free Autodesk programs.

Thanks,

You are unable to save-down to a older version. You would have to export to a neutral format such as STEP or IGES and they would have to import the file.

It's not just Inventor, the same is for Solid Works, Solid Edge and Pro-E.

Inventor 2020, In-Cad, Simulation Mechanical

Just insert the picture rather than attaching it as a file
