    Rendering Surfaces?

    Can this be done? I have some complex parts I imported as surfaces and when
    I do a render the parts disappeared.

    It can be done.
    RMB on the surfaces to select a color.
    In attachment there is a simple rendering of 2 surfaces.

    Can you zip and post the files?
    Why not convert to solids?
    Did you turn off translucency of the surfaces?

    Its a Adept i600 robot I downloaded (Link below). I've tried to stitch and
    convert to solids but with my limited experience, have not be able to
    convert to solids. Also to make matters worse my customer requires r10
    models. In r10 color can be applied to surfaces as mentioned in another
    reply and then they will render but r10 does not have this capibility.
