Render Output Video Issues

I have a 44s video and I have turned Production off. When I try to render the video in the .avi format, the video that is output won't play due to an error, possibly file corruption. When I render the video in .wmv format the video will render but the quality is bad. When I turn the Production on, the video will render fine but I can only render a video of the first 30s.
Is there a way I can render the full 44s and have it output in the .avi format?

I fixed it by turning down the resolution
