How do you change the ratio size of a part. I have a part and made it just a bit smaller than the constraints say. I want to up the ratio of it. How?

    Hi,

Do you mean like scale down a part?

Lets say make it 10% smaller then what it is now.

Yeah! Exactly. Do you know how to do that? If you do could you explain how? Thanks!

    Start new part file.

Select Derived Component and the original file.

    Set the scale factor.

If you have Inventor Tooling there are additional tools for scaling.

I think there is also a scale tool in the SDK that allows independent scaling for each axis.
