We changed software from R2010 to R2011. Along with the usual issues, we had a whole new set of grief and heartache with the Content Center, which we found a work-around for. Also, in the new(er) release, they've stuck a "bump map" on the surfaces of the model files. It (or some other new "feature") is causig slow and notchy video operation, and we'd like to turn it off, but according to the "help" files, you have to do it at the part level. Is there no way to "globally" turn it OFF??... especially since we never turned it on....
