Problems with insert constraint with inventor 2011

I am having a problem with the insert constraint. once the object is inserted it will not spin inside the hole.

If other items are selected (hi-lighted in the browser) it will stop the item from spinning. Sometimes items are copied in and just act funny. Delete them, do a save and re-install them and everything works fine.
Have yet to figure it out. Or just a good old complete power down, wait and power up the system.
