    Printing models

When I print a copy of the model I am working on it only fits the top half of the paper. Are there settings in Inventor to print a full page or are the controls in the printers themselves?

Sounds like you're not selecting an approriate paper size in your printer options.

When you press print the dialog box comes up with the choice of printer at the top - click "Properties..." to goto the printer's options.  In here select the paper size that matches the paper you're printing to (and any other options like mono, colour, etc), click ok to return to the print dialog and then ok to print.

    that sorted?

ps.  "Printing models" - do you mean you're printing from the drawing idw environment or the ipt/iam modelling one?

if not then you can always check the "print preview" button to see what the computer is expecting the print to look like.  If the preview differs from what is actually being printed then there's some other issues at play...

if you're printing from the ipt/iam modelling environment then it will only print what is on the screen (including zoom, etc) when you click print, so if you need to show more of your model then zoon out a little.  Tbh,  you get far more control printing through the idw environment (or exporting an image from the modelling environment and using something like CorelDraw to tweak/scale the image as you want).

Sounds like you are just trying to print a picture of the model in the work environment. Change the paper orientation from Portrait to Landscape in the printer dialogue box.
