    Plotting

    Hello there,

this is merely a question for plot options but since we just recently started to plot from Inventor, I need a

little help pulling the right levers.

I noticed the lines are to thick when i plot from Inventor, therefore a profiled sheeting looks almost black

    in isometrical view.

We´re using a HP Designjet T790PS 44In PS3, but we dont have an extra raster image processor, therefore

printing is a little slow. I already thought about taking it back to AutoCAD by savind the *.idw to a DWG file,

because of the plotfile settings in AutoCAD.

Any hint or link to a tutorial is very welcome.

    Thanks in advance

    Daniel

You can set your lineweight in the Styles Editor.

That almost did. Placing 130 meters of trapezoidal sheet and viewing it in

an isometric view is just to much. But it got better and we will just simplify

the trapezoidal to get a better view.

For the detail view we simply do another page in the *.idw and turn off the

layer "visible" in which the overlaying lines are that are still there when prin-

    ted in 0,01 mm.

Thank you for the help :smileyhappy:

as JDMather said, lineweights are controlled in the styles editor, which by default are all set the same.

    Mine are not the same?

and this is the default (for metric, inch is similar)?
