Need help whith logo in Part and drawing mode

Question 1: can I make a Decal / emboss of a logo from a picture ware ONLY the logo will follow NOT the whit background? I need this for a school assignment but i can't find info on the Internet and hope that you can help me, is there a specific file type I need to use?

Question 2: How can I make this logo to appear next to this made up companies name in the drawing sheet?

Decal and Emboss are two different things.

You can you image files for Decal and set the background to Transparent (if it is one color). (right click on image in browser)
Attach your ipt file with Embeded image here if you can't figure it out.
