Is there any reason with INV 5.3 or 6 that you should not have multiple
copies of the program open. I mean not 5.3 and 6 at the same time but 2x5.3
or 2x6?
The reason I ask is if I am working on a project and someone comes and asks
to have a quick look at another it is a PITA to close all files change
projects and open the new file etc. I was thinking just start a new INV
session and open a different project.
Can this be done without causing any grief?

I have done this a number of times in the past and the only issue I have seen is you may
not have the project you expect active thee next time you start up.

Likewise; only a few times and no problems.... I think the last instance
closed is the one that leaves the bread crumbs, but not sure.

I found the opposite. I corrupted R6 when both R5.3 and 6 was opened. I
was unable to export idw to autocad dwg in R6. Ended up uninstalling and
reinstalling both.

Hi, Ole.
I think the original post stated something to the effect that it wasn't going
to be an instance of different versions. I haven't attempted to do that and
don't believe it would be a good idea, either.
