A file is imported from solidworks, contacts are assigned and then it meshes as desired. However I have encountered a problem that means that in a static analysis the program thinks the part has multiple bodies which then throws up an unassigned contact warning. When opening the part in question you can check that it is in fact only one body?
Why is the FEA module detecting multiple bodies when the modelling part states there is only one?
Any ideas? See attached for reference.
Thanks - andy

answering my own question... there are multiple bodies in the part document but they do not show up as such... if you then delete them out it works. Why this is I have no idea?
