Does anybody uses Inventor for manufacturing panel casings with the V-Groove technique. This means you make a V-Groove on one face then fold the panel at the V-Groove. In this way you can fold up a panel into a box. This simplifies assembly and eliminates the need for edge-banding.
What is your workflow ?...That is how do you create the V-Grooves on the flat panel ?
Do you use part modeling or sheet metal modeling ?
You will find a trial I did. Please open to see the folded part then flatten board by Supressing Bends_1_2_3_4 simultaneously.
Please comment !
Thx _Cha
