    Lift Mechanism

    Im trying to figure out how to create a chin sprocket assembly like shown were the chin is commected to an object and as the sprockets are driven it moves the object up and down.

    What book are you using to learn Inventor?

    Are you using Dynamic Simulation for this?

    I am current ly working in solidworks in which there is no practical way to to what i explaned and i was wondering if there was a way to practically do it in inventor.

     

    I have a couple years experience in inventor in school

     

    and i am not able to post the solidworks file

    Roll up the feature tree of each part.
    Save the files with the feature tree in a rolled up state.
    Right click on the folder (or filename) and select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    Attach the resulting *.zip file(s) here

    or

    do the design in Inventor.

     

    What book are you using to learn Inventor?

    Are you intending to use Dynamic Simulation in Inventor?
