Maybe I`m a bit slow, I know this has been adressed several times before, I
know library files can not be modified, but I need to. Hopefully without
having to remove the file and replace it when modification is done. The
solution would be to create a project where these library files are ? and
add each directory to work group search path ? That don`t work here, I
still get the "cant modify....blablalbla" What am I doing wrong ? Help!

Create a new project with no Library Search paths, and add your library paths as Local Search Paths.
Using the Project Editor I find it a bit of a pain as it tries to be too clever and automatically
add Library Paths for you, so I usually resort to copying the IPJ file, renaming it, edit in Notepad
and change [Library Search Paths] to [Local Search Paths], then use this project.
