    Label 3D part

Anyone can tell me how to label a 3d model if that`s possible at all? I am due for an interview and they`ll give me a part to 3d model it and then label it. Now I am not sure if they want me to label the part after I have placed it into the drawing sheet with different views(that`s simple) or they want me to label the actual 3d part without creating a drawing.

    Thank you.

Label for 3D part, either Decal or Emboss.

    define "label"

    Maybe they mean "to dimension"

I suspect you simply need to model the part and then "dimension" the part in a drawing.

I too find the term "label" unclear.

Could be decal/embossed with part#, logo, etc...

Could be dimension and/or place parts list in .idw/.dwg environment

Could be to change the Features to have descriptive names

Could be using Publisher or similar to dimension/bubble

I find the term labeling unclear as well, maybe they don`t want to say it precisely and they will let me know on the interview.Anyway thank you guys for the responses.
