Autodesk Inventor

Inventor studio is giving me this error:

Excel is installed.

How do I solve this problem?

Excel is installed, but has it been started at least once to let it
fully load?

Yes, I use excel daily, and I have not used Studio since MS Office was upgraded from OfficeXP to Office 2007.

I have all the latest service packs for IV 2010, and I see no hotfix for any Excel problem.

Don't tell me since excel was upgraded I have to uninstall IV and then reinstall

That's the only thing I've heard of to fix the problem, that is, launch
excel first. I don't know if a reinstall would fix this or not, doesn't
hurt to try a Repair first.

I launced excel, and then Inventor. Didn't solve the problem.

I tried a repiar, I get a bunch of read errors, of two different IV DVD's.

Uhg, I hate Autodesk crap sometimes...

Uninstalling/Reinstalling did not solve the problem.
