Who makes a car called "Faraday" or did Autodesk change the naming convention starting with 11?

They moved the naming convention to history's "Inventors".

Kevin, IMHO there's something wrong with the release date of IV9, AFAIK it
was in July 2004, not May.

I just checked "my" list and have 9 listed as June (but I may have rounded
the May holiday weekend "up" to June). Michael, are you perhaps thinking
when it may have shown up on your side of the pond?

I know in years past our delivery to Europe lagged by quite a while (unlike
this time where you seem to have gotten yours before those in the USA).

Here's "my" unofficial list of AIS FCS dates in U.S.A.:

Inventor 1: 09/20/1999
Inventor 2: 03/01/2000
Inventor 3: 08/01/2000
Inventor 4: 12/20/2000
Inventor 5: 09/17/2001
Inventor 5.3: 01/30/2002
Inventor 6: 10/14/2002
Inventor 7: 04/18/2003
Inventor 8: 10/31/2003
Inventor 9: 07/14/2004
Inventor 10: 04/01/2005
Inventor 11: 04/04/2006

Michael's Inventor 9 date matches with one in "my" list 🙂

How much did Daimler-Chrysler have to pay for the
naming rights for versions 5 through 9?

I also have it as July 2004.

BTW it's here for posterity...
