Hi everyone, did any of you got these problem? I am using Windows 7 Pro (64-Bit) with Autodesk Inv 2011 (64-Bit).

I normally use this feature: "Realistic Appearance" and changing the material. However, when I accept (Clicked OK), the application crashed on me!

Please take a look at the error and the image...

Uhhh... is there a fix for this issue? Anybody?

I doubt you will get any help without listing your Inventor and full system specs.  Did you send in the crash report when the program went to the desktop?  Any number of things can cause this to happen, no way to know without a lot more information.

Here is my system spec. Please take a look at my snapshot... the application crashed on me many time and I am getting fed up! Can't even use realistic appearance!

Notes: this is system 1 and the other machine is the same. There is no point posting both images.

I get the same thing when I try to add a realistic appearance to a material.  Has there been a fix added for this?

Even if I hit cancel on the materials dialog box, I get a crash (no inventor dialog only microsoft comes up).

Same OS and Inventor version as yours

I am afraid the developers are not going to fix this for inventor 2011 edition. They are going to ignore this bug and force everyone to update / buy a newer version.

In my point of view, three of the person I knew, they also have this problem. They are engineer and they always got this hedious crash. Sadly, I've been telling autodesk to sort this issue. However, I think they refuse to fix this bug.

Hi: I use Autodesk Inventor 2012 (Evaluation version).

Problems localisation:

-          In "Drawing" application for "Inventor".

-          Inventor and all operating system (Os) are crashing roughly and the system restart.

Problems results:

-          The whole operating system crash;

-          All my data are lost (drawings, documents, etc.);

-          Any message are displayed for more information problem crashed;

Problems onset:

All this when I try only to use the function "Break" on my form (basic form).
