Inventor 2010 Will Not Build Flat Pattern

I have a pretty simple design and yet Inventor will not build the flat pattern. Here is the error that it is giving me:

12 Valley_R2.ipt: Errors occurred during update
12 Valley_R2.ipt (Flat Pattern): Errors occurred during update
Definition1: Could not build this ASMFlatPattern
No base plane found

Anyone have any ideas?
