I received my AIS6 software and followed the install instructions for a network installation. Everything finished fine but when I try and start AIS6 it tells me that it cannot find a valid license. Do I need to make any modifications to the license manager. There's nothing in the documentation.

Did you have AIS5 (with IV 5.3) installed as a
network install? If so then you do need a new license file (just a text
file) from Autodesk. Call the Authorization phone # and they will send it
to you and can even walk you through the process of adding it to your FlexLM
license manager.

If not then you need to install FlexLM license
manager on the server. Again the help files and Auth Support can help you
out on this a bit. There is a document on the AID CD that talks about
network installs.
