I am trying to index an ascii type Point Cloud. The file is exported from GOM Inspector program and file extension is asc. There are some parameters in GOM for exporting the point cloud. For example you can chose "," or "." as separator. I believe the problem lies in this area. I believe the syntax in my file is wrong. I have tried to find instructions of the file format / syntax. Could anybody help me find instructions for asc. point cloud file syntax.

I am replying my own earlier question. Since the problem was a bit urgent, I had to find a solution fast. I opened the ascii file with note pad (which is good for any kind of text files since it does not add anything to texts) and noticed that GOM had added the file name in front of the coordinates and also inside the file. I deleted the file names from the contents and the file indexed fine on Inventor.
