Importing Table from Excel Causes Excel to Open

Is there a way to disable Excel from opening when importing a table? The only reason I ask is because when I do so Excel prompts me that an error has occurred and it needs to start in safe mode. This happens every time I move, re-size or open the table. Very Annoying.

Sorry...
I'm running Inventor 2011, although this also happened on 2009.
I have windows XP on my machine and Excel is the 2007 release.
I have all the necessary updates and such.
