Where I work we make "generic" assemblies to look at concepts and ideas. The issue is that when it is time to take these 25 +/- parts and save them to actual working part numbers it is a manual task, that may happen 5-8 times a day. The idea is to have an Illogic program that looks at the file name (with a common prefix identifier) and change those IPT files to working names. Our naming/numbering system is sequential so the program would need to "loop" until all parts with the common identifier are renamed. I've spent a few days looking around the internet and blogs and don't see anything that really solves this issue. Any and all help is appreciated.
