Idw printed line weights, "best fit" will not work

Currently I cannot print line weights with the "best fit" scale option selected.
Scale options of:
model 1:1 (w/o tiling) ,custom (above .7 scale), & current window all seem to scale the lineweight correctly. But the output is not limited to the sheet edges
IDW line weights display correctly within Inventor (2013) drawing environment
The behavior is the same across all printers on my system, including PDF & from the "export to PDF" option.
It seems any scale value smaller than .7 will zap the line weights from the preview as well as the hardcopy
any ideas ? Thanks in advance

Try in the Application Options>Drawing>Display Line Weights>Settings>Display True Line Weights:
You are probably set to: "Display LIne weights by range". This should be for display only, but the print program may be looking at this as well.

For Me :
"Display True Line Weights:" = All line weights are removed from drawing & print preview.
"Display LIne weights by range" = Shows correctly in drawing environment but not in "best fit" preview or hardcopy.
I've isolated this between the scale options of:
model 1:1 (w/o tiling) = lineweight shown / sheet extents shown incorrectly
Best fit = no lineweight / sheet extents show properly
custom (above .7 scale) = lineweight shown / sheet extents shown incorrectly
current window = lineweight shown / sheet extents shown incorrectly

It must be hard-coded into the print program then below a set scale factor to strip the line-weights.

Strange update
the drawings in question had been ANSI C size with 2:1 view scales = no lineweight previewed or printed at "best fit"
I changed sheet size to A size with 1:1 scale views = lineweight previewed & printed correctly at "best fit"
Lineweight should be lineweight, no matter the scale . wondering why this would happen.

EDIT:
to quote blair
"It must be hard-coded into the print program then below a set scale factor to strip the line-weights."
indeed it seems so.

What is your lineweight?

.007

.028 IN.
IV2013 arbitrarily stripped the lineweight when the sheet was "C" size & drawing views were 2:1. I recreated the error. I am trying to recreate other sheet/scale scenarios just for giggles.
