Does Inventor care whether your running ECC or NECC RAM?
Does ECC run faster? Costs more.

Gcooper,
What I understand so far:
ECC has the ability to detect and correct 1 defect memory cell, and detect
(but not correct) 2 defect memory cells. So you will not suffer from
unhandled acess violation and power exit "feature" that much when using ECC
RAM, as far as these come from defect memory cells. ECC RAM will not be any
faster than non ECC.
