Hi
I was wondering if there is a way to change the appearance of a face in a weldment assembly environment. I have a weldment which in the machining process a part of weld bead as well as a portion of one of the componets is machined down (spot faced) and I need to change the apprearance of those face to polished, but it doesnt let me do that? is it me, or its not possible?
Thanks

Currently all the welds beads will change. Select the weld bead (any weld bead) and then change the appearance from the Appearance drop-down menu and unfortunately all the weld beads in the assembly will change. Short of Photo-Shopping a picture I don't think it can be done

yeah, I thought so, cause I tried different ways and unfortunately I couldnt, if it was in a part environment, it was easy as you can change the appearance of any operation generated face through properties in the right click menu.
maybe a good one to add to wish list for future versions.
Thank you
