    HI,

dose anyone have any solution on how to simulate friction in assembly study in FEM in AI?

Some of the joints in Dynamic Simulation allow entry for friction.

    Attach your assembly here.

    HI,

I am more interested in adding friction in stress analysis.

Dynamic simulation only analysis rigid body movements and is not enough for what I do because it dose not include neither elastic nor plastic deformation.

In consequence I got cone pushed threw hole smaller then it.

I know that I am trying to use inventor as FEM program, which it isn't.

I wander if solver for stress analysis can solve non linear cases would be possible to introduce contact type that would simulate friction.
