How to create the solid from 2 ellipses?

I like to create a chin from 2 ellipses profile.  I used the Loft command and it does not allow me to complete the command.  Did I use the right command wrongly?  Or there is another way to do so?

    - Thanks.

Here is a possible solution. But I am not near a computer to try. So, please choose the surface option instead of solid. You can than patch the openings and stitch into a solid. Try.
