    open the dwg in inventor

when you have the dwg selected in the open dialogue, hit the options button and make sure you set to import

There are no really good results, the source is only a mesh.

I can't upload the file because of it's size (about 4 MB). Try again for yourself Open -> DWG import. Import is lasting several minutes

Your problem title is incorrect - as indicated by Walter there are no solids in the file.

You might be able to open a layer at a time and separate into different parts and stitch to solids - but I think I would start over and do the model correctly (as solids rather than meshes).

    hmmm polyface mesh!

    would these be prosteel objects?

if so you need to use export to an acis file ( _PSCREATEACIS or something like that, its been a while)

then you can bring into inventor
