I'm trying to import dwg files from autocad 2002 to Inventor 5.3 but can't figure out how. Help!

Whether you're in a part or drawing, make sure the Sketch button is
pushed in, and at the bottom of the Sketch panel bar you should see
"Insert AutoCAD file." Use the Options button instead of immediately
hitting Open to make sure end points are being constrained, etc. If
you don't see .dwg as a type of file to open, make sure Volo View
Express 2 is installed.
You can also use the Open command on .dwgs.
