Harness: Change wire type / Loom Properties

Goodday,
I've made a harness with all kinds of cables. How can I quickly replace a wire with a different type, without having to route it again.
And a second question I have. When I look at the loom properties, on the tab Occurrence, I see a 2 lengths. One is called Length and the other one is called Adjusted Length. What is the difference between them?
Somehow I have great difficulty finding information about the harness section in Inventor. Does anybody has a good website where I can find more information/tips. Al the things I find is just the tutorial video, but I miss a bit more about creating custom loom/wires, how to work with splices and virtual parts different kinds of ways. At my work I generaly make just a harness to sell, not a device with wires in it. Anyway maybe somebody has a nice resource on the web.
