Hi
i have inventor 2011version assebly models , but i need that models in inventor 2010 version.
my idea is first save as in .stp file then open in inventor 2010 then save as .ipt.
but above process my total assemblies after change into .stp or any neutral form total parts colour changes to gray colour. but ineed colours same as 2011 version.
thanks in advance

Sorry, but the export to a neutral format is the only solution for backwards (older version) conversion.

Hi!
Try Save Copy As Catia V5 Product (*.CATProduct), pay attention to the versions (in Inventor 2012 can save since 10 to 19)
I think the Inventor 2010 can open Catia V5 Produtcs (=assemblies) but I do not remember.
The colors are retained certainty.
