Frame Generator Windows 7 Inventor Pro 2011 crashing

I Have an issue within my work every time I open a file from vault, check out the iam. and decide to change some part of the frame using frame generator.
Whilst using the Ribbon UI in the Ribbon Interference Style the view box appers saying getting information form content centre. The inventor crashes out.
If i revert back to the classic UI Ribbon interference and perform the same action the change style box appers and allows the user to change the specific items with in design generator.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
