Is it possible to use features from an ipart to pattern a second part in an iassembly?
In other words, I have a sheet metal Housing (ipart #1) which I used the linear patteren tool to pattern a half-shear punch along a flange. I've added this housing (ipart #1) to an iassembly where I was hoping to use the linear patteren of ipart #1 to patteren a bracket (ipart #2).
Note: I was able to use the componet pattern feature when they were all standard parts. I received errors when I began changing parts to iparts and assemblies. I'm new to inventor and am unsure if I made an error when chaning over the parts, or if these changes mean feature driven patterens are no longer an option.
Thanks!
